We continue our outreach by giving away fresh fruits and vegetables for free to assist with the ongoing increase in price and unavailability in neighboring stores. In belief that this will introduce and incorporate these products in their everyday diet. So far the results and feedback are phenomenal. This week's Giveaway at Edgartown Library was a great success. We were able to assist over 100 families this week with fresh fruits and vegetables. This week bags consists of cabbage, zucchini, onions, carrots, squash apples, oranges, beets and bananas. Unfortunately 100 bags aren't enough anymore. We didn't make it through our 2 hour session. Over 100 bags were gone in an hour and a half. We had to scrap up a bag to give to our last guest, a pregnant girl who traveled on the bus and we refused to send her home empty handed. Please Donate today to help us feed more families. Thank you for your support.
